Voice of Truth - Comfortable Christians

Have we become comfortable Christians? We live in a country blessed with prosperity. Let's look at some facts. 19,000 people die every day of hunger, while we feed our animals better meals than most of these people eat. 1 million people die from malaria each year, when all it would take is a mosquito net to save many of them. Over 55,000 Christians are martyred each year for professing Jesus, while we make excuses as to why we can't even make church on Sunday. People are dying around us daily who are lost for eternity, while we have the Word of eternal life and do nothing with it. The family and marriage is being attacked, while Christians stand quietly and say nothing. What should we do?
Hebrews 13:11-13, "11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy of holies by the high priest as a sin offering are burned outside the camp. 12 Therefore Jesus also suffered outside the gate, so that He might sanctify the people by His own blood. 13 Let us then go to Him outside the camp, bearing His disgrace."
It is time to go outside our church walls. It is time to go where the need is. It is time for us to meet Jesus outside of our church walls. Jesus is with the drunks, the addicts and the criminals. Jesus is where things are dirty and ugly. We need to meet Him there. Most people are not going to come to a church looking for Jesus. We have to go to the people and introduce them to Him. Are you ready to get your hands dirty? Are you ready to risk everything for Jesus? Or are you happy being comfortable?
